Dagsmejan is a Swedish-Swiss company based in Zurich, founded in 2016 by Catarina Dahlin and Andreas Lenzhofer. The company’s mission is to significantly improve the quality of our sleep and thus our quality of life with smart, functional nightwear that is scientifically proven to increase sleep comfort. The inspiration for Dagsmejan comes from a passion for living a healthy and active life. Rest is key to our health and performance, and a good night’s sleep is the most important means of our recovery. As Catarina Dahlin, co-founder and CEO of Dagsmejan puts it, „Sleep is vital. This is why we created Dagsmejan.“ Dagsmejan is a Swedish word that refers to the last days of winter, when the warmth of the sun’s rays melts the snow. It comes from two words: ‚dag‘, meaning day, and ‚meja‘, meaning strength and power. It is the time when nature reawakens after a cold and dark period – this feeling should be conveyed with the sleepwear.
