„Sexy outfit with green content.“ Following this idea, GOLD Professional Haircare was founded in Denmark in 2009 by the two hairdressers, who, full of passion for hair and love for their profession, had precise ideas about what demands a hair product should meet. Special focus then as now is on environmental friendliness.
Nature plays a major role at GOLD Professional Haircare. She is the guarantor that all ingredients meet the strict Danish purity standards. She is the source of inspiration for the use of pure essential oils, plant extracts and natural antioxidants. The entire care line is vegan, and beeswax is used in some of the styling products. But everything else stays out: all products are free of parabens, ammonia, PPD and resorcinol. And – all GOLD products carry the „Cruelty-Free“ logo. „Beauty without Bunnies“ is the name of the program of the major animal protection organization PETA, with which it lists companies that completely forgo animal testing in the development and manufacture of their products.
